How it works

1. Pair KinTrace with Apple Find My on an iPhone, or Find Hub on an Android phone.
2. Attach it securely to your child's backpack or the bag they carry.
3. Open Find My or Find Hub to see the tag's last known location, or play a sound to find it when you are nearby.

Please read before relying on KinTrace

• KinTrace is an added layer of support, not a GPS tracker or an emergency device. If a child is missing, call 911 immediately.
• Location comes from nearby phones on the network, not live GPS. The last known location may be delayed, especially in quiet or rural areas.
• For privacy and safety, Apple and Google alert nearby phones when an unfamiliar tracker is travelling with them, and the tag may play a sound. This can happen while the tag is away from your phone. Let your child's school and caregivers know it is attached.
• Pairs with one network at a time: Apple Find My or Android Find Hub.
• Not a substitute for adult supervision.
• Do not place the lanyard around a child's neck. Small parts: keep away from children under 3 years.
